Out of the blue, actress Anna loses her job at a small town theater. One minute on stage, she now finds herself in the gloom of the local job centers. At the urging of her theater's enthusiastic clerk, she takes the lead in the drama course for eight long-term unemployed - "difficult to place". Despite enormous opposition to the mandatory training program, an increasingly very close group is formed from the frustrated individual fighters, staged by Anna "Antigone".
