The legendary German band Einsturzende Neubauten, known since the 80's for their uncompromising approach to music has come up with yet another groundbreaking project once more far ahead of its times, enabling them to work on their endeavours without needing to bow to the music industry's rules and regulations. This new scheme allows their fans and supporters to encourage and finance new recordings via the internet. What an impact this cheeky use of modern technology has had on the band, their fans and the music industry is portrayed in the Documentary by Danielle de Picciotto. She was asked to document the ensuing tour in 2004 by Blixa Bargeld, singer of the band, to provide material for future concert documentaries. Besides filming the shows, she interviewed countless "supporters" worldwide, ending up with this documentary and resulting in a piece of art that reveals the power of following an individual, courageous path and how it can change peoples lives worldwide.
