Synopsis:
Known for her deft and communicative finger-picking style, Elizabeth Cotten became one of the most significant guitarists to come out of South. Her most celebrated song, "Freight Train," was written at the age of 12, and Cotten saw her only Grammy award for her music 81 years later at the age of 93. This collection of three concerts from 1969, 1978 and 1980, plus a retrospective, capture Cotton's brilliant career before her death in 1987.
