Synopsis:
"Welcome back my friends, to the show that never ends!" Roaring applause compere Alan Freeman's stirring words of welcome, the night ELP made their historic return to London. The Royal Albert hall was certainly a fitting venue for the dynamic trio to make their long awaited come back. The venerable hall has long been the home of great and glorious music and that was always ELP's speciality.
In 1991, after many years absence, ELP reformed with its original line up of Keith Emerson, Greg Lake & Carl Palmer and the following year released a brand new studio album Black Moon.
This yielded some fine additions to the band's repertoire including the title track and 'Paper Blood', both of which were performed during their concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in October 1992. However, most die-hard fans were eager to hear the band tearing into their classic performances like 'Tarkus', 'Knife Edge' and 'Fanfare For The Common Man'. They weren't disappointed.
