Marshall Bruce Mathers III also known as Eminem as well as his alter ego Slim Shady is one of the great rappers and song writers of our time having sold well in excess of 200 million records worldwide. This is his amazing story. Born October 17, 1972, Marshall had a difficult and traumatic childhood which has echoed throughout his life and ultimately his music. Touching on this, the relationship with his mother Debbie, the death of his Uncle Ronnie and the torrid relationship he has with his ex-wife Kim this video gives a rare insight into the more personal side of his life. It wasn t until he was 9 that his love for music came to the fore when his Uncle Ronnie introduced him to Rap music. By 14 Marshall started to perform his own amateur raps showing an early talent for something which ultimately would go on to make him a global mega-star.
