Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan star in this tale of robot romance! Superstar Rajinikanth, ace director Shankar and music wizard AR Rahman team up for the much-anticipated 'Enthiran' - said to be the most expensive film in the history of Indian cinema. Co-starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and featuring state-of-the-art special effects, this tale of a man-machine is simultaneously released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and other languages. Rajinikanth performs a dual role, playing both the scientist Dr. Vaseegaran and the humanoid robot he creates, named Chitti, which looks exactly like its creator. Despite his humanoid appearance, Chitti has superhuman strength, speed and intelligence. And when Dr. Vaseegaran upgrades Chitti's processor he becomes able to simulate human emotions and falls in love with the beautiful Sana - played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
