Endurance tells the incredible story of the legendary Haile Gebrselassie, described by Runner's World magazine as the 'greatest distance runner of all time' and holder of 27 world records throughout his career, from 5000 meters to the Marathon. Beginning with his early life in Ethiopia where he ran the 20 kilometers to and from school barefoot with his books under his arm, the film follows his determined pursuit of Olympic glory and a 10,000 meters final at the Atlanta games of 1996 that would become recognized as one of the greatest races in athletic history.
