Season ReviewEngage Super League XV belonged to Wigan Warriors, crowning a spectacular season with an epic Grand Final triumph over their old enemy - St Helens. Undoubtedly it was one of the most competitive seasons ever. Warrington Wolves emerged as real title contenders, whilst Hull FC, Hull KR and Huddersfield Giants all proved worthy of their play-off places. Against all the odds, new boys Crusaders secured an historic top eight finish, whilst Leeds Rhinos were always a real threat with their galaxy of international stars. And for fans of Bradford, Castleford, Catalans, Harlequins, Salford and Wakefield there were many, many magical moments to savour.

A new breed of 'Super Warriors', inspired by Man of Steel Pat Richards and Young Player of the Year Sam Tomkins, secured Wigan's first silverware in eight years. Facing fiercest rivals St. Helens, appearing in a record fifth Engage Super League Grand Final in a row, the Warriors overpowered Saints early on and led by Harry Sunderland Trophy winner, Thomas Leuluai, emerged victorious.
