The last match of the 1980 Five Nations? The tournament saw England travel to face Scotland at Murrayfield. Bill Beaumont's team knew that victory would mean England's first Five Nations Championship since 1963, and their first Grand Slam since 1957. An amazing all-around performance saw England trounce the Auld Enemy 30 points to 18, with the Scottish defence ravished by young centre Clive Woodward in his first international season. Beaumont's heroes remain the only English side to ever win the Grand Slam on Scottish soil, an accomplishment made much sweeter by the fact it was won against their fiercest rivals.
