- It's been 10 years since the first Carlist War of 1833. In a village in Alava, a curator of the Provincial Council of Alfredo Alfredo (Ramón Aguirre) is investigating an event and traces lead to a terrifying blacksmiths that are in the depths of the forest. There, he lives a dangerous and lonely blacksmith: Patxi (Kandido Uranga). Citizens of the area are told about the dark stories about them, about robberies, murders and demons. One day, a girl named Usue gets into a mysterious rust, and reveals the horrible truth that Patxi Burns conceals.
