1947. The commander of Ukraines Insurgent Army, Danylo Chervonyi (Mykola Bereza), is thrown into Stalin's prison-camp Gulag, where he must go through hell, surviving inhumane conditions, prosecution from criminal leaders, betrayal and despair. Danylo finds the strength to resist and makes a desperate attempt to break free, in doing so starting the first rebel uprising in the camps history. 'Escape from Stalin's Death Camp' is a brutal depiction of the horrors of war.
