With the annual European concert, the Berliner Philharmoniker celebrate their founding on May 1, 1882 - in 2019 the European concert will be with Daniel Harding from the Musée d'Orsay, Paris. The European Concert 2019 at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris should set a strong signal for German-French friendship. Daniel Harding, Music Director of the Orchester de Paris, conducts sonorous works by Wagner, Berlioz and Debussy, which shed light on the diverse cultural interdependence of the two musical nations. As a soloist, for the first time in 18 years, the Welsh bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel will play again with the Philharmonic.
