Join Host Phil Keoghan as he is talks to the five climbers from 'Everest Beyond The Limit 2' and several renowned Everest veterans as they share their personal triumphs and tragedies to reach the top of the world. Sitting in a lodge around a roaring fire Mogens an asthmatic, Tim a Los Angeles biker, David the businessman, Betsy a novice climber, Monica the expedition doctor and Russell Brice the expedition leader all relive the challenges they faced on the mountain. In addition they are joined by guests including Peter Hillary, son of the great Sir Edmund Hillary, other renowned veterans and Sherpas as they discuss the dangers resulting from the growing numbers of climbers attempting to scale the world's highest mountain, the challenges of climbing so high that the human body fails to function and how and why controversial life and death decisions have to be made. The fascinating discussions are frank, honest and revealing and are interspersed throughout with video clips relating to the topic.
