Official highlights of Everton's 2003/2004 season which marked the club's 125th anniversary. Optimistic in the face of adversity, with injuries and ill luck playing a prevalent part in their campaign, Everton didn't perform as well as they had hoped but there were still some golden moments. From their initial promising match at Highbury they went on and thrashed Leeds United 4-0 and beat Tottenham Hotspur on Good Friday. Wayne Rooney popped nine more goals for the team and Nigel Martyn continued to play with fantastic flair throughout the campaign. Every goal is shown here, as well as interviews with the players and narration is from BBC's Ray Stubbs.
