Quite simply an afternoon that any self-respecting Evertonian will never forget.... May the 19th 1984, was the day that Everton Football Club announced to the world 'We Are Back!'. Everton's fourteen year search for silverware was finally over as they lived up y=to their billing of pre-match favourites at Wembley. The Hornets had their moments, but the Toffies were never going to be denied and the 'Tartan Terrors', Graeme Sharp and Andy Gray would write themselves in to history with a goal a piece. The manager Howard Kendall was on the verge of losing his job earlier on in the season, however, to the credit of the board, he rode the storm and delivered Everton's first F.A Cup triumph since 1966.
