Alessandro (Andrea Carpenzano), twenty-two years old, is an ignorant and turbulent trasteverino; Giorgio (Giuliano Montaldo), eighty-five, is a forgotten poet. The two live a few steps from each other, but they have never met, until Alessandro is forced to accept a job as an escort of that elegant gentleman in afternoon walks. As the days passed by the somewhat bewildered mind of the old poet and his verses, progressively emerges a memory of his distant past: traces for a real treasure hunt that progressively intrigues Alexander and ignites the greed of his friends who think they will find who knows what loot...
