- Excel Saga is a Japanese animation comedy TV series directed by Shinichi Watanabe and featuring the voices of Jason Douglas and Jessica Calvello among others. The show is centered on Il Palazzo’s desire to cleanse the World which he believes is corrupt beyond repair, and the incompetence of his partners Excel and Hyatt who do little but get in the way of Palazzo’s World-changing scheme-grandeur.
