- When a boating joyride during their family vacation takes a disastrous turn, a doctor, his wife and their six year old son soon find themselves stranded on a deserted island. Isolated and alone, without food or water, they are finally discovered by a local fisherman Miguel Kaba (Barkhad Abdi) after a few days. However their salvation soon becomes a living nightmare when the fishermen abduct the mother and son and demand a ransom for their safe return. Now a desperate father must race against the clock to track down the kidnappers and save his family.
