Not since 1927 have the Welsh giants walked out onto the Wembley turf to compete in an FA Cup Final. Such was the magnitude of Dave Jones' achievement that despite defeat to Portsmouth the club were given a heroes welcome back to the capitol and the fans stayed behind long after the final whistle to pay their respects to a team that came so close to eclipsing the wildest dreams of each and every Cardiff City fan.
