The Hammer of God
Father Brown becomes involved in a village scandal where the local Colonel is the source of gossip because of his romantic liaisons. The Colonel is brutally murdered and Father Brown discovers the answer - in a church tower.
The Oracle of the DogWhen Colonel Druce decides to change his Will a lot of people begin to worry. Father Brown is a guest at the Druce house when this is happening and the family dog helps him to solve the Colonel's murder.
The Curse of the Golden Cross
