- Synopsis:
Based on a Russian folk tale. There lived an old man and an old woman and they had two daughters. The beautiful Marfuga was the old woman's stepdaughter. The evil stepmother forced Marfushka to work hard, and spoiled her capricious own daughter. One day the old woman decided to kill her stepdaughter altogether. She ordered her husband to take her to the forest and leave her there. The daughter was left in the forest, waiting for death from the cold. But Frost took pity on the girl, rewarded her with expensive gifts and sent a handsome groom - Morozko. The stepmother found out about this and ordered her own daughter to be taken to the forest. But the old woman's daughter was rude to Frost. Morokh caught up with a cold and the rude woman became icy. And Marfusha married Morozko. - Actors:
