- Tom Cruise stars as a brash Navy lawyer who's teamed with a gung-ho litigator (Demi Moore) in a politically explosive murder case. Legal drama that goes beyond formula - A Few Good Men review by CP Customer
If you are a fan of Grisham et al you will enjoy this. Cruise plays a carefree plea bargaining lawyer, who ends up defening 2 junior marines, and uncover corruption.
The chemistry between the 3 heroes is good, it takes a different approach to the love/sex interest, and builds to a superb crescendo with some twists in the plot. One of my favourites.

a good courtroom drama - A Few Good Men review by AB
very good drama played out mainly via the legal procedures and courtroom but do not let that distract you as to how watchable this film is. Cruise is as annoying as ever (and he not one of my favourite actors) as his character always seems to have the upper hand and be the sole driving force of the defence team (isn't Demi Moore supposed to be the senior officer here?) but the unravelling on what actually went on in the story is well structured and how he goes about extracting that information is a typical lawyer sequence of thought processes and actions. Well worth a watch

TopNotch Courtroom Thriller - A Few Good Men review by GI
Oh how I wish Tom Cruise still made films like this rather than endless hi-octane action films. This is a courtroom thriller that is script perfect and boasts top class performances not only from Cruise but Demi Moore, Kevin Pollack, Kevin Bacon, Kiefer Sutherland and, of course, Jack Nicholson, who is so memorable here the film is worth watching for his performance alone. But this is Cruise' film, he's excellent here as the laid back US Navy lawyer assigned to defend two marines accused of murdering a fellow soldier. He's cocky, clever and quick to realise that there's a cover up. Assisted by headstrong fellow lawyer played by Moore and his cynical friend played by Pollack they are up against the tough and influential Colonel Jessop (Nicholson). Director Rob Reiner directs this as a mystery thriller and it's in the courtroom where the truth is sought. There's twists and turns in the plot that will keep you guessing. This is a first class film and highly recommended if for some reason you've not seen it. It's a film you can see many times and not get tired of it. As courtroom dramas go this is difficult to beat.
