Synopsis:: "Fighting for Freedom" takes the viewer within the complex immigration crisis to meet the bifurcated legal/illegal Mexican Oscar Salazar (Jose Maria Yazpik) family and the American Christian Dobbe (Bruce Dern) family that employs them at their fruit farm. ICE (Immigration and Custom Enforcement) raids Love Orchard and orders a Deportation Hearing for 3 year old illegal Angelina! Dobbe daughter. Karen, (Kristanna Loken) a lawyer, creates a defense for Angelina that becomes a definitive microcosm of the U.S. illegal immigrant controversy. 'Fighting for Freedom' is a socially conscious, morally infused film suitable for the entire family.
