- Synopsis:
Robyn (Anna Paquin) is a flack: a PR agent, who promotes, publicises and protects her clients in the maelstrom of a modern media-led society where problems can go viral in an instant. She keeps their secrets but Robyn has secrets of her own - and while she's fixing her clients' lives she can avoid facing the fact that she's perhaps incapable of fixing her own. In a show that's both moving and hilarious, Robyn is joined by an exciting cast of characters which includes Sophie Okonedo (Chimerica) as her stylish but cynical boss and Lydia Wilson (Requiem) as her outspoken and provocative colleague and best friend as well as guest stars Max Beesley, Marc Warren, Alan Davies, Katherine Kelly and Bradley Whitford. - Actors:

So Bad its BAD - Flack: Series 1 review by CP Customer
Surprisingly terrible for a show about the P.R industry, which is such fertile ground for very watchable outrageous behaviour. Especially the ones that expose the dark underbelly.
This is 95% focused on the main characters boring self obsession, not on sleazy celebrity stories. It should be the other way around. As for the amazingly insane angle that this is "feminist" in some way????? Partly explained by the producers love of the hideous deluded and dangerously "isnt everyone in politics actually trying to do good" rubbish The West Wing. Anna P is usually so good and so is Steven Moyer. True Blood is one of the best tv shows ever so where did it all go wrong!!!
