'Flying Legends' is the most famous war-birds air show in the world. It takes place every July at the former wartime fighter airfield which is now the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. Experience all the action from the ground and from inside the cockpits. Expert interviews with pilots and crew give piercing insight into the background of the aircraft as well as the thrill of flying 60 year old propeller aircraft in the turbine dominated age of the 21st century. In 2005 the stars of the show include the Curtiss Hawk flying in public for the first time, two B-17s, four Mustangs, the Royal Navy Sea Fury as well as numerous Spitfires, Hurricanes and US war-birds.
