This documentary addresses the conflict of faith faced by five very Christian American families - including that of Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson - as they struggle with their child's sexual orientation and their own religious beliefs. With additional interviews with such respected voices as Bishop Desmond Tutu, Harvard's Peter Gomes and Orthodox Rabbi Steve Greenberg, we discover how people of faith handle, or sometimes tragically fail to handle, having a gay child.
