Accompanying documentary to the 'Hardcore Homecoming' (2005) wrestling extravaganza. Directed by Terry Funk and Joey Styles, this documentary takes a look behind the scenes at the world of wrestling at a crucial point in its history. Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) had been rendered defunct with some wrestlers taken in by the WWE and others left behind. Those left behind had a hard battle ahead to create their own league out of the ashes but they made it and this is the story of their struggle. None of the performers taken in by WWE took part in Hardcore Homecoming due to the tight restrictions on their new contracts but the remaining giants of the grapple game had a ball on the night, held in south Philly in June 2005. In candid interview, many of them here discuss their feelings about the split including Sandman,Terry funk and Scott Levy.
