- After their adoptive mother is gunned down during a grocery store holdup, the estranged brothers reunite to seek revenge and take matters into their own hands. Defying police orders, the four begin turning their old Detroit neighborhood upside down searching for the mastermind behind the brutal killing. Along the way, they discover they are bound by ties thicker than blood in this emotionally powerful, action-packed drama.

Absorbing tale of revenge - Four Brothers review by CP Customer
Film starts with a seemingly mindless shooting at a corner store and develops into a story of revenge by four adopted not-rights. In spite of their misdemeanours, the brothers are characters you actually care about and you want them to get to the bottom of what happened to their mum. Some good action sequences, including an icy car chase and gun warfare at a seige on the brothers' family home. A slightly predictable, but satisfying plot with a twist. Good performances, with Wahlberg believable as the vengeful one spoiling for a fight.
