- Foyle's War is a British detective drama created by renowned writer Anthony Horowitz, Foyle’s War follows Chief Superintendent Christopher Foyle and his driver Samantha “Sam” Stewart as they try to catch those taking advantage of the Second World War to commit various crimes in the hopes that that authorities will be distracted. With a number of cameo’s from well known British faces and a continuing storyline surrounding Foyle’s son Andrew, a pilot in the Royal Air Force, Foyle’s War is one the most successful long running period dramas of the last ten years.
