Francesca da Rimini: Metropolitan Opera (Armiliato) (2012)

The Metropolitan Opera give a live performance of Riccardo Zandonai's work based on the play by Gabriele d'Annunzio. Marco Armiliato conducts the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra with Eva-Maria Westbroek as the title character,who is tricked into marrying a man she doesn't love for the sake of the state,and Marcello Giordani as her lover Paolo il Bello.
