Frank Sinatra was a fabulous singer - there's no question about that. He was also a generous singer, giving credit where credit was due to all of the musicians, arrangers, and conductors that he worked with over the years. But Frank reserved his greatest respect and admiration for the songwriters who fashioned the wonderful words and marvelous melodies that he sang. In turn, the lyricists and composers were thrilled when Sinatra would put his unique interpretive stamp on their work.
