An epic journey around Britain on a 1912 traction engine in search of our industrialist and engineering past. Fred Dibnah's traction engine is a time capsule of Britain's industrialist past. It's taken Fred years to restore it and now he's taken to the road, travelling the length and breadth of Britain in search of the engineering and mechanical skills of the past - an age when Britain was the "workshop of the world" and the words "Made In Britain" were stamped on ships, locomotives, traction engines, bridges and pit winding engines all over the world.
