Jimmy is a drug-addicted circus performer at the end of the road. Once part of the circus elite he is now relegated to a Russian circus populated by has-beens, could-have-beens, and never-stood-a-chancers. But Jimmy is worth a million - literally - as he has seven and a half kilos of grade A heroin hidden in his elephantine backside (for Jimmy is a bona-fide elephant), sewn in there by his stoner keeper Roy Arnie (Woody Harrelson), a low-life criminal with a fetish for circuses, who controls his animals through a cocktail of uppers and downers. Arnie intends to set up his own circus with the proceeds of his drug scoop, but Jimmy has his own ideas and frees himself, running off to the moors. An epic race ensures between competingbands of stoners, activists and mobsters; as well as a booze-drenched hunting party that can't believe its luck when it sumbles upon some big ame instead of the usual squirrels and woodpeckers. Someone is sure to capture the prize... unless, of course, a strangely compassionate moose can thwart all of them...
