Friday The 13th part 12, yet another sequel. - Friday the 13th review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
02/07/2010

I was a bit disappointed with 'Friday The 13th', I was expecting a full remake similar to Marcus Nispel's 2003 remake of 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre', which although flawed was fairly loyal to both the story and spirit of the 70's original. 'Friday The 13th' on the other hand is nothing more than just another sequel set around Crystal Lake in the present day, so in fact this is in reality 'Friday The 13th part 12'. That said it's probably one of the better sequels in the series. Overall, it's not great but if you're a horror fan worth a look.
