A decent second season. - Fringe: Series 2 review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
20/05/2010

This second season of Fringe is surprisingly good and pretty much takes off from the point season one ended. Without giving away any spoilers, like season one the episodes fluctuate between the storyline which dominated the end of season one and self contained episodic stories. The whole season is fairly consistent in quality with the exception of 'Brown Betty', which is an appalling standalone episode set in the 1930's which features musical numbers from various cast members, which is played under the guise of drug addled Walter telling Olivia’s niece, Ella, a fairy tale while under the influence of a strain of marijuana called Brown Betty. That duff episode aside, this is a decent second season and every bit addictive as the first.
