I really enjoyed Adam Green's last two films, the superb old school slasher horror 'Hatchet' and the psychological thriller 'Spiral', and 'Frozen' is equally as good. Green cleverly spends the first 30 minutes of the film building up the three main characters, showing them as ordinary likeable people, and when the realisation of their predicament kicks in you're already pulled into the film caring about their plight. And from this point the film really becomes a brilliant mix of unsettling horror and thriller.
If your a horror or psychological thriller fan then this a movie which should be high on your rental list.
This is the most ridiculous film I have ever seen. From the first scene, to the end, the whole thing is one of the most far fetched films I've ever seen. However, it is worth watching if only on fast foward with no sound as it is so funny!! (unintentionally). I don't want to spoil the story, so I can't describe what made me pee myself with mirth, but if you love mountain adventure, rent it for the final scene......
Trapped on a cold ski lift would you fall asleep without your glove on? No neither would I. The wolves were a bit to used to human beings for my liking. I would say nice second or third attempt for a trainee director with a difficult to stretch out story.
