Back in the big time following a four-year absence, this is the story of Fulham's dramatic return to the Premier League. Come November, the Whites were 17th in the Championship and struggling. But under the guidance of Head Coach Slavisa Jokanovic, the belief within the team never wavered. The capture of striker Aleksandar Mitrovic in the January window, allied to the goalscoring prowess of teenage sensation Ryan Sessegnon, helped bring about a run of results that left the Whites just agonisingly shy of automatic promotion. That 23-match unbeaten run catapulted the men from the Cottage in to the Play-Offs, and all roads led to Wembley after a Denis Odoi header secured Semi-Final success over Derby County. Aston Villa awaited in the Final, where a solitary goal from skipper Tom Cairney was enough for Fulham to clinch promotion, sending the 'White Wall' into delirium.
