- Synopsis:
This is the story of three lives the converge and diverge as destiny directs the course of their lives. Gangaa (Amitabh Bachchan) rendered homeless by his own uncle Thakur Hansraj (Amrish Puri). Saraswathi (Jaya Prada) is a Mujra dancer whom Gangaa rescues from the clutches of his evil cousin. She falls in love with her mentor but he loses his heart to Jamunaa (Meenakshi Sheshadri), a beautiful gypsy. Jamunna and Gangaa get married by the cruel hand of fate seperates Jamunaa from her beloved. She almost dies but is saved by the timely appearance of Saraswathi and Gangaa's best friend, Shankar (Mithun chakraborty), both of whom know nothin of Jamunaa's relationship with Gangaa. Giving up Jamunaa as dead, Gangaa married Saraswathi will Gangaa be re united with Jamunaa? And what happens to Saraswathi? - Actors:
