Based on the life of William Garrow and starring Andrew Buchan and Rupert Graves Garrow’s Law is the story of a lawyer in 18th Century London, who, under the supervision of his mentor John Southouse, was one of the first to stand as legal representation for those accused of criminal activity. As well as bringing reform to the British legal system, introducing the concept of innocent until proven guilty, Garrow also takes on controversial cases including those of wives against violent husbands and ex-slaves against boat masters.
