Gary Barlow is on a mission to record a special song to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. After writing a simple melody with Lord Lloyd Webber, and getting some advice from Prince Charles, Gary decides to set off around the Commonwealth to find musicians to help make his unique record, with nothing more than a laptop and microphone. From the slum drummers in Kenya, to pan-pipers in the rainforests of the Solomon Islands, Gary is on a voyage of musical discovery. Recruiting Prince Harry and Gareth Malone's Military Wives along the way, he is determined to make a song fit for the Queen. With a date looming to present the song to Her Royal Highness, the pressure is on.
