- Gavin and Stacey is a British comedy sitcom starring Matthew Horne and James Corden about the romance between Gavin (Horne) and Stacey (Joanna Page) and their friends and extended families. Gavin, with the help of best friend Smithy (Corden) tries to impress her as they start a relationship that due to their odd friends and relatives has many bumps in the road. The show looks at the many embarrassments caused during life by family as well as the love and acceptance that it brings too.
