Hip and fresh girl-meets-girl comedy debut from writer-director Rose Troche and writer-star-producer Guinevere Turner. The film follows the lives of five women as they go on dates, have fashion crises, oversleep, wish for and deal with love. For some reason everyone has decided that Max (Guinevere Turner) and Ely (V.S. Brodie) would make the perfect couple but matchmaking the two of them is not going to be easy. Max is an aspiring writer; outgoing, opinionated and a hopeless romantic, only problem is she's single. Ely is a quiet vet's assistant with an out-of-town girlfriend, two cats, a fear of social interaction and a roommate as extroverted and promiscuous as Ely is introverted and celibate. The three friends decide they are going to have to work overtime to make Max and Ely get it together. - Actors:
