Turkish animation which brings to life the years religious figure Bediuzzaman Said Nursi spent in exile in the small village of Barla. Nursi (voice of Enver Seyitoglu) is a celebrated Muslim scholar who wrote a commentary on the Quran that is over 6000 pages long. However, at one point his views were considered extremely dangerous and he was sent to the remote village of Barla to keep him out of the way. The film charts his experiences in the region and how they contributed to his spiritual growth.
