The Dutch hard-rock band Golden Earring had already gone through all the ups and downs and proved their steadfastness when they played in the Rockpalast in 1982. Founded in the 1960s, their song "Radar Love" became a megahit in 1974. Over the years there have been at least 200 cover versions of this song, including such famous lights as "U2", "REM" and "Bryan Adams". "Radar Love" turned the album "Moontan" (1974) into a huge success.
