Gordy Ohliger: The Banjo-ologist (2011)

Musicologist Gordy Ohliger performs a number of vintage songs using the actual instruments of the period. From 1800's minstrel music to the 1900's jazz revolution, Ohliger attempts to produce a version of the song faithful to the era in which it was produced and talks a little about the history of each piece.
