This a remarkable documentary about the world famous Austrian artist, Gottfried Helnwein, and his contentious role as Production Designer for the never before seen opera 'The Child Dreams' in Tel Aviv 2010. 'The Child Dreams' was written by Israel's most famous playwright the late Hanoch Levin. The opera portrays the hopes and dreams of children in search of freedom and peace. For Helnwein, the child has always been the symbol of innocence and innocence betrayed. This documentary follows the creative production process of the opera and Helnweins fight to preserve the opera's integrity. Gottfried Helnwein studied at the University of Arts in Vienna where he was awarded the Master-class prize. A television documentary about Helnwein has been awarded with the Adolf Grimme Prize in 1984. His work is worldwide well-known and appreciated.
