Grace Bumbry's 2002 recital of Leider, dedicated to her former teacher, Lotte Lehmann. Born in 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri, Bumbry started singing in the church choir and then became one of Madame Lehmann's students at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California, in 1995. She still pursues her concert career and is also active in the international civil rights movement.
