All six episodes from the travel documentary in which Michael Portillo traces historic rail journeys across Australia and visits some of its greatest places along the way, taking as his travelling companion the Bradshaw's 1913 'Handbook to the Chief Cities of the World'. His journeys include Canberra to Melbourne, Sydney to Broken Hill, Newcastle to Brisbane, Port Augusta to Darwin, Kuranda to Townsville and Adelaide to Perth.
