Following their previous successes, the focus of Makoto Edamura and the talented misfit team of confidence tricksters around him shifts to the art world, as a chance encounter with a painting resembling a work by a legendary painter sends them into a spiral of art appraisal, counterfeiting and fraud that brings back some unexpected memories and encounters for Cynthia.

Reflecting on all he's seen and done, Edamura decides it's time to call it quits on his life as a confidence trickster and go straight... but is it really that simple?
