When Martin (Pat Healy) answers an ad for record producers, he's paired with a fellow trainee (Kene Holliday), and the two hit the road to find fresh talent. But with a mandate to sign anyone who will pay the $3,000 "producing fee," Martin changes his tune fast. He realizes that he's simply a huckster peddling fantasies of overnight success, and his victims are dreamers - like himself - who truly cannot afford his worthless promises.
